Mosquitoes carry diseases that kill people. One person dies every 10 seconds of a disease carried by a mosquito. Half of these are children. The reduction and management of harmful flying insect and mosquito populations is critical to decrease the numbers of health risks to humans and animals. The MosquitoSmasher™ is a self-contained, self-cleaning device that rapidly reduces these harmful flying insects by attracting the insects to lay their eggs in the device’s breeding area.

Unique design

Easy to install in urban, rural and remote locations, the unique design makes long periods of un-attended operation possible. A single unit covers roughly one acre. The device is solar powered and offers AC and DC power charging of its battery. The device uses non-toxic, environmentally safe attractants and then smashes the eggs and larvae.

The reality of the matter is

There are hundreds of products on the market that kill mosquitoes. From zappers to electronic fly swatters, many of the mosquito traps use toxic chemicals. Others use synthetic solutions of natural attractants to lure in the mosquitoes and then kill them. CO2 or propane devices are very expensive, require a lot of on-going support and new supplies every 21 days. These are thus not cost effective and produce poor results.

The companies that have misting systems are effectively killing mosquitoes, but are also killing everything that flies through the chemicals; particularly bees, flies, ladybugs, butterflies. These misting systems are being outlawed in many areas due to their disastrous impact on the environment. Pesticides is becoming less effective and children are still dying.
